The Parish Priest

Father Marin Grigoriță, born on 10 October 1994 in the village of

Mingir, Hîncești district, into a Christian family, where he managed to

learn the true values of life, faith and dignity. He

primary school at School No. 10 in Chișinău,

now the Institute of Educational Sciences, between 2001 and 2005,

then, as his parents had moved abroad, he was transferred to

Mingir Theoretical High School, from which he graduated in 2013.

During his secondary school years, he gained

working experience whilst providing services for the

in the village of Mingir (1 September 2011 – 31 August 2013). He was supported

and mentored by the Director of the Concordia Social Centre,

Mr Mircos Mihai.

Thanks to the outstanding results he achieved upon completing his

, he was able to enrol on a state-funded degree programme at the Faculty

of Humanities at the State University of Moldova, specialising in

Romanian and English Language and Literature (2013–2016). Alongside his

, he was a member of the ‘Crenguță

de Iederă, led by the well-known performer Maria Iliuț. Thanks to

her excellent achievements with this ensemble, she went on to

perform on stages acclaimed both at home and abroad. Combining

her studies at the Faculty of Arts with her stage performances, she has developed

solid skills in both team communication and the analysis of

various situations in society; she has mastered the art of

verbal expression by organising her thoughts and ensuring coherence in her speech.

During her studies (since 2015), she has been working for

the international company Green World, a subsidiary with its head office in

the Republic of Moldova, as a sales manager.

On 1 August 2019, he laid the foundations for the ‘Tezaurul

Notorius Treasure of the Nation, compiling two volumes of the collection: Knights

of the Order of Labour Glory, volumes 1 and 2. Through this project, he has succeeded in

uncover a variety of figures active in various fields

(entrepreneurs, academics, farmers, teachers, doctors, workers,

politicians, etc.). The experience gained through this project is

truly formative.

Meanwhile, he is applying to the Academy of Orthodox Theology in

Moldova, Faculty of Pastoral Theology, where he is studying in depth

the teachings of the Holy Fathers and the Dogmatics of the Orthodox Faith. By

the mercy of the Good Lord and the guidance of His Eminence Vladimir,

Metropolitan of Chișinău and All Moldova, he was ordained a priest on

2 August 2021, and on 3 August 2021, by decree

, he was appointed parish administrator of the church dedicated to

Saint Nicholas, in the village of Hârtopul Mic, Criuleni district.

He carries out his duties as a spiritual father with great responsibility,

taking into account the values of contemporary society, in which a significant role

is played by young people. He draws them closer to the Holy Church through the advice he offers in

times of uncertainty and responds with great empathy to every

person, regardless of age, occupation or field of work. He is

always active on various social media platforms so that he can be

reached if necessary. The administration of the Orthodox Church of

Moldova holds the remarkable work of Father Marin

Grigoriță.
